For 20 years, TEG has been involved with utility service providers in designing customized energy efficiency and demand-side management programs. Our company has helped RECs, municipalities and investor-owned utilities throughout the Midwest to meet their energy efficiency goals. In many cases, TEG also delivers and administers these programs to the different customer classes on behalf of its utility partners.
As a consulting firm, TEG can provide support and management for energy efficiency programs. Our services and tools can be packaged to meet your specific project needs and our business development and marketing teams can provide managerial support. Check out the exciting programs we are currently involved in!
Partnered with Iowa Finance Authority, MidAmerican Energy, Alliant Energy, and Black Hills Energy, TEG administers and delivers the Multi-Family GREEN program to Section 8, multi-family facilities or shelters. The Multi-Family GREEN program is designed to identify energy saving opportunities and provide incentives and financing for implementation.

Retro-Commissioning is a documented process to improve and optimize an existing building’s operational performance. The RCx process considers the original design intent of the building and compares this against the current building use and/or occupancy. The primary purpose of Retro-Commissioning is to identify and quantify low-cost operational and maintenance improvements in existing buildings. Much of the Retro-Commissioning process is focused on energy using equipment such as mechanical, temperature control, and lighting systems.

Energy Association of Iowa Schools (EAIS)
EAIS is a nonprofit organization that helps Iowa schools focus energy and budget savings on education through non-biased consultation, training, and support. Member's will be empowered to develop energy management plans that will pave the way for energy and cost savings, optimal building performance, and continued education in the realm of energy efficiency.
TEG fully supports the association's creation and continued success. Through market research and organizational consultation, we have assisted the executive director during the start-up phase and will continue our involvement by providing members with unbiased E(nergy)-coaching through personal school visits and improvement support.
