Agriculture

The Energy Group (TEG) has a proven track record of helping farmers and agribusiness lower operational costs through energy efficiency and conservation measures. Many agricultural practices are energy-intensive, using vast amounts of energy both directly (equipment, facilities, water, and transport) and indirectly (fertilizer, pesticides). We help our agricultural customers manage their energy use in each area, improving the vitality of farms, ranches, and rural businesses across the Midwest.

Through comprehensive energy analysis, our team evaluates process improvements, conservation measures, and facility upgrades, - pinpointing the best energy efficiency and conservation solutions for each unique operation. We access utility incentives and other financial resources to ensure the most cost-effective approach. Ultimately we apply strategies that lower operating costs, offset fuel and energy cost volatility, and help meet regulatory requirements.

INCENTIVES, LOANS & GRANTS

We also assist with state and federal programs, such as the USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP). Many rural businesses are eligible to apply for grants or low-interest financing for energy efficiency and conservation measures via these programs. Our team secures experienced grant writers and coordinates on your behalf, allowing you to focus on your business. We have helped hundreds of operations successfully fund improvements through REAP and other programs.
