Why is energy efficiency important? There are many benefits to having a building that operates efficiently; the most obvious being reduced energy and operational costs. Other benefits include: Increased comfort and air quality, lower maintenance costs, a reduced carbon footprint, and increased capital which stimulates economic growth. The Oasis

Earlier this summer Kelly built a new patio for our Des Moines office.  But not just any patio, a patio that is made  from re-used materials.  The pavers are recycled from a park renovation project in a rural Iowa community; the lights are solar and purchased from Habitat for Humanity; the wood scraps are left over from a remodeling project at Kelly’s house; and we purchased the patio furniture from an owner here on the East Side of Des Moines.
