2012 Iowa Association of REALTORs Convention

Emily and Jesse attended the 2012 Iowa Association of REALTORs (IAR) Convention at the Scheman Center in Ames on September 26th and 27th.  The association organized the annual convention to gather real estate agents, developers, and contractors all around Iowa.  The convention brings them an opportunity to continue education and training, discuss important state and national legislation, and meet and share experiences with other agents.  TEG attended the convention to communicate to IAR members about energy analysis and building performance, the importance of utility relationships and rebates, and energy efficiency services that TEG offers.  We were able to remind attendees […]

Amber, Les attend Republic Company’s 4th Annual Energy Summit

On October 2nd, Republic Company held their 4th Annual Energy Summit at the Bettendorf Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa.  Republic Company is a wholesale distributor of support systems ranging from electrical and energy management to refrigeration and signs.  For the last four years, Republic has held their Energy Summit to discuss and review strategies and solutions for optimal energy consumption.  Amber and Les attended the Energy Summit to take part in the manufacturer trade show as representatives of MidAmerican Energy. Alliant Energy’s Commercial New Construction Incentive Program

Alliant Energy believes “energy-efficient buildings use less energy, cost less to operate, and impact the environment less than conventional buildings”. And we agree! To further support their message, they have developed a program to assist commercial facility owners and developers build in energy savings during the design phase on both new construction and major remodel projects. Iowa and Minnesota customers in Alliant Energy’s service territory may qualify for the Commercial New Construction Incentive Program and, if eligible to participate, customers could receive free energy design assistance by means of comprehensive energy modeling as well as design team and construction incentives.
